Tech and Accessory Deals

Apple iPad (9th Gen)

This deal is a holdover from before Christmas. It’s a bit less appealing now, but if you wanted an iPad and didn’t get one, it may be worth your while. The 9th-generation slate (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is our favorite iPad. It’s powerful enough for most users and it’s compatible with the majority of our favorite accessories.

Select items are on sale at Nomad with coupon code HH2023. This includes a few different versions of the Nomad Rugged Case with MagSafe, which is one of our very favorite MagSafe accessories.

The Amazon price is $40 cheaper than we saw during Black Friday and $10 cheaper than we saw last week. We just added this slate to our Best Tablets guide. It’s a relatively snappy Android machine that comes with a stylus—it’s great for catching up on shows, browsing your favorite apps, and even some light work. The price is a little high, but this deal makes up for it somewhat. The smaller Tab S9 FE is also on sale for $400.

Sony WH-1000XM4

Sony’s WH-1000XM4 headphones (9/10, WIRED Recommends) have been a stalwart pair of wireless headphones for years now, and the reason for their success is plain. With excellent noise canceling, warm and detailed sound, and a ton of modern features in a comfy design, they’re among the best travel headphones you can buy. This deal is even better than what we saw on Cyber Monday, though it has been around for a few weeks.

We thought the Beats Studio Pro headphones (7/10, WIRED Review) were good, not great, but that was before they dropped to this price a few weeks ago. These headphones have excellent noise canceling, solid sound quality, and a USB-C plug for high-resolution audio. They pair easily with Apple and Android devices and even have head tracking for spatial audio.

The Hatch Restore 2 is our favorite sleep gadget, and this is the best price we have seen for it. It’s an excellent sunrise alarm clock that’ll wake you up gently in a similar manner to the sun rising outside of your window. Some of the best sounds and features are locked behind a paywall that starts at $5 per month, but we still think this is a solid gadget, especially at this price.

Pixel 8

The Google Pixel 8 (7/10, WIRED Review) is the company’s newest flagship phone. It’s good! It performs well, the camera is fantastic, and the performance is snappy. Our only gripe is with the battery life, which left much to be desired in our testing. The Pixel 8 Pro is also on sale for $799 ($200 off). Read more about the two phones, plus the rest of the lineup, in our Google Pixel Phone Buying Guide.

This Motorola Razr is one of the cheapest folding phones you can get right now, and it’s kind of surprising that it has dropped this low. It doesn’t have the larger front screen its successor has, but it still has a gorgeous, 6.9-inch OLED screen when open, 128 GB of storage, and a beefy 4,200-mAh battery.

The Google Pixel Tablet (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is really good for an Android tablet, but it’s the included charging dock—which doubles as a speaker—that makes it stand out. This combo device lets you pick up the slate to use it like a normal tablet and set it down to use as a smart speaker when you don’t need it. You can even set up to eight user profiles, so anyone in the family can use it with their own apps and home screen.

Alienware AW3423DW

The OLED Alienware AW3423DW (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is sublime. It’s our favorite luxury gaming pick in our Best Monitors guide. The image quality and colors are top-notch, and the responsive, immersive screen makes for a fantastic gaming experience.

This is our top pick for the Best Robot Vacuum and this is the same deal we saw during Cyber Monday. Roborock’s entry-level vacuum is remarkably fast and thorough. It only rarely gets stuck, and it uses lidar, not cameras, to navigate through your home. It has multi-map capability for multistory houses and mop functionality.

Video Game and Toy Deals

Stock is fluctuating in and out, but this sale is worth checking if you want to add some new games to your Nintendo Switch library. Options include Mario titles, Diablo III, and more. Check back later if a title is out of stock since it may become available again.

We’ve seen this game sell for around $30 recently, so $8 for the digital edition seems like a good deal. There will be a physical case delivered to your shipping address with a download code inside it.

Here’s a cheap classic game that can get your family through the rest of winter break. It usually sells for about $10 more. You’ve probably played Scrabble before, but if it’s missing from your board game closet, this deal should be up your alley.

This is another solid toy to pick up if you have some kids left on your shopping list—or you want a head start on next year. The completed set features a snowmobile, an explorer minifig, and even a tiny baby seal.

Deals on Everything Else

Brooklinen Washed Linen Core Sheet Set

Brooklinen makes several of our favorite bedsheets, and right now the retailer is holding a last-call sale offering up to 75 percent off a vast selection of items. This sheet set is one of them, and it’s on sale in a few different colors. We also like Brooklinen blankets, towels, and robes. Check out the full selection here.

This deal is a great way to save on a Costco membership if you’ve not been a member for the past 18 months or more. The Gold Star Membership grants a membership card for the primary cardholder and one additional Household card. The $40 Costco Shop Card can be used at Costco in-store as well as on its website. The gift card will be emailed within two weeks of signup.

Balmuda Toaster Oven

Balmuda

This is the lowest price we have ever tracked on this Japanese toaster oven. The Balmuda Toaster (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a mini steam toaster, so you pour a tiny bit of water with the included (and equally cute) tiny cup into the top area. You can use it to make stale bread fresh again, but it can also reheat pretty much anything. There are time recommendations for things like pizza, a croissant, and sandwich bread.

After the holidays, the last thing I want to do is cook. This is an easy way to get $15 off food delivery or transportation, especially if you stack the gift card with other deals when you redeem it. Uber gift cards are excellent gifts for college students or young adults living on their own for the first time.

This deal is just $5 more than we saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. WIRED contributor Joe Ray hated the original Our Place Always Pan (3/10, WIRED Review). But the company revamped it and released the Always Pan 2.0, which I own and wholeheartedly adore. The new version of the pan has an improved nontoxic nonstick coating and outer surface, more sustainable construction, and it’s oven-safe. The sloped edges and the pan’s overall design allow for many different cooking functions. There’s even a spoon holder built into the pan’s handle.
